Kevin,

if you have an iPhone or iPod/Pad, try an app called "Maidenhead" it's free and will convert your position (if Wifi or Internet enabled) to a grid locator. if your not connected you can still enter the coordinates manually and get the results.

Also www.aprs.fi will show the grid location of the cursor in the map screen.

Finally, pretty much all GPS units will show coordinates in maidenhead. My Garmin Etrex Hcx, will do it. all you need to do is select Maiden head in the preferences for coordinates systems. In fact I can select the coordinate field twice on the display, once showing lat/>long the other showing the grid. One caveat. if you are on the boundary, the grid display will show only one grid, not both. But again with the lat Long display on the same screen, there should be no doubt as to you position on the boundary.

get my location. All my gps does really is give lat&lon which is fine, but all the things I have found you click on the map and it gives everything with grid but I want to do the reverse, so when I am driving around I can punch in my gps cooridnates and get my location /grid on the map.
