Good morning everyone!
For this month, AO-51 will be allowing SSTV operation. The AO-51 page says Robot 36 mode only, but might we use a mode that's even shorter, such as one of the Black and White modes, as well???

Just to clarify, we are trying V/U SSTV on the 435.150 downlink this week. The schedule as posted:
November 10 - November 12
FM Repeater, L/S Uplink: 1268.700 MHz FM Downlink: 2401.200 MHz FM
SSTV FM Repeater (Robot 36 only, maximum 1 image transmitted per pass) Uplink: 145.860 MHz FM Downlink: 435.150 MHz FM
November 13 - November 16
FM Repeater, V/S Uplink: 145.880 MHz FM Downlink: 2401.200 MHz FM
SSTV FM Repeater (Robot 36 only, maximum 1 image transmitted per pass) Uplink: 145.860 MHz FM Downlink: 435.150 MHz FM
The intention was to standardize the mode so there is no confusion, and to include those using the Kenwood VC-H1s. I think we should stick to this for this session. If there isn't a lot of traffic, I think more than one image is OK, but we want to give everyone an opportunity to participate. So...use some common sense if you feel motivated to send more than one image. How well everyone cooperates using this will determine if and how often the mode is repeated!
