The Weekly Satellite Report under AO7 says:
Listen before transmitting!
Is there some kind of "listening" one should be aware of??.
We learned that 80 years ago in ham radio....That applies to any am/ssb/cw/fm modes, even if transmitting "in the blind" in an emergency....
All sorts of weird ideas floating around now???

The report sez "Current Mode: Listen before transmitting"
AO-7 has been switching between mode A and B on it's 24 hr timer. "Listening" allows you to determine which mode is currently active.
But you probably knew that ;-)
