They were calling him on the 2 meter SSB net tonight, no answer. That was probably after you saw him moving back down the hill.

And a thanks from here as well! I worked him this morning on a western VO-52 pass, and he was saying at that point it was difficult. Thanks for making the trip up there.
I worked Dave this morning @ 1552Z on an AO-7 pass. Weak, but readable. Looking at his tracker now, it appears he's heading back down to his vehicle. Thanks also from me, Dave, for backpacking to that grid intersection.
