Between satellite contacts, Don’t forget APRS at Field day too. Have fun!
Independent of scoring (APRS gets no respect at FD anyway)… it is still a good time to play APRS radio and make contacts. Who cares about points when there are so many people on the air!
Remember CQSRVR lets you call CQ everywhere in the world from your APRS radio out in the field. Just send a message to CQSRVR with the first two words as CQ FD followed by your info.
Everyone else in the world who has also sent such a message is automatically logged into the CQSRVR and will get a copy. Once you have sent yours, then you too will get a copy of all future such messages from everyone else.
CQSRVR just makes the global CQ to everyone else. To make contacts, then you need to initiate a 1-on-1 message to any other callsign you see to make the contact!

You have that expensive APRS radio, USE IT!
