Congratulations Steve, W5IEM, on your first satellite contact. I will never forget my first one. It was more exciting than my first novice contact when I was 11 years old! You will soon find out just how addictive satellites can be. Welcome aboard!

I would like to pass on my "Thank You" to everyone at the AMSAT booth. I worked in the booth on both Friday and Saturday. It was so nice to put a face on the many I have worked through a satellite. This was my first time to work in an AMSAT booth. Everyone made me feel so much at home. The hospitality that I was shown was very much appreciated. The time just went way too fast. The banquet was terrific too. Learning about the Fun Cube Dongle was a special treat. A big Thank You to everyone involved for making my first trip to Dayton a special one. A Thank You also goes out to Martha for making my reservations at a really nice hotel.

Like satellites, I believe Dayton may be habit forming! I have been an active Ham for 50+ years and I am still learning new tricks and developing "good" habits.
