Howard,   Let me assure you. Your LVB tracker Version 1.2 is still doing a fine job. The very stripped down version I built with only the PIC16F876, MAX232 and 2N3904s just sits inside a ordinary Radio Shack box (no buttons, no display) and does its job day in a day out.   Thank you for a fun home brew project.   Mike (K9QHO) AMSAT 33589
