Hello,
Happy New Year to all on the list!
I've got a replacement 3SK121 for my AG-35, and I'm looking for suggestions on how to replace it? The relay coil is mounted very close. I'm curious if anyone else has managed to replace the FET without removing the relay?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Kyle
I change one in my AG-35 just cut the legs of the fried one as close to the casing possible then just solder the new one over the legs already solder to the board. To avoid over-heating the coil relay just put a piece of insulating material over the coil i put a small piece of teflon. There is only one leg too close to the coil relay. You should have a steady hand and a magnifier with a lamp it help to avoid messing with your pen iron throwing melted solder all around the place.
It works for me just hope it will work for you.
