Is there a website with the status of SumbandilaSat?
As far as I know the launch was good, but after that haven't heard anything?

It's one of these. I suspect it is NOT object C.

The primary payload is a camera, and the mission has always required a low orbit. C is the only item other than the upper stage that is not in an 800km orbit. C is in a ~500km orbit. All indicators point to C as Sumbandilasat. Why do you suspect it is not?

I suspected that itwas a similar size to the Russian bird and that all would have been ejected in one hit. Perhaps I guessed incorrectly.

I copied a pass using Object C last evening, and it was in perfect agreement on AOS/LOS, and good agreement on Doppler correction. The next pass I can look at will be tomorrow morning.

Morning,
I looked for signals this morning on the 1500 UTC pass over the eastern US. Nothing heard on or around either published downlink frequencies. Anybody else hear it today?
Alan WA4SCA
Heard a quick burst of CW on 435.351ish during the last pass of object B/D/E but not enough to identify anything. Doesn't help that I don't know morse.

I wasn't expecting to hear SumbandilaSat as the SA-AMSAT web site has already indicated there will be no telemetry on Amateur frequencies. I'm guessing it may be a few months before the commissioning phase is complete.
I listened out for RS-28 but nothing heard.

Trevor,
Thanks for that. There had been some initially on 435.353 or so. CW blocks. Perhaps they have now transitioned to the regular frequencies.
Alan WA4SCA
Pieters email on AMSAT-BB indicates SumbandilaSat would be dropped off at 500 km, see
