Hello JoAnne and friends---
For the IC-9700 I'm using just USB (not USB-D) and have reset the filters as wide as possible for that mode (all three in fact, so it's always the right one, hihi).. I can print using audio over USB or from the ACC1 jack on the back into an external sound card, so we have several options for getting audio.from the 9700.
In Foxtelem, be sure to use Telem Format "BPSK 1200bps LTM". I try to adjust the RX frequency so the bottom left screen shows "Carrier: " values of about 1200-1500. The TLEs are good and have been, which makes the Doppler corrections good enough for automation.
I'm working on the station at the university and need to tweak a few things, but the M2 Leo pack is just enough to print the bird when elevations are "good". The preamp is inside, so fixin' that is in the near future.
So, keep at it, group! This is an opportunity for many of us to work on the 70cm receiving sensitivity of our stations--that's what I'm doing ;)

Charlie and David,
Thanks for the pointers. I've found a couple of things to tweak based on your messages.
I'm using the S.A.T. tracker box so I don't have SQF files - but I've tweaked it's satellite frequency there so I'm hoping I'll be closer to the frequency.
I'm using my Greencube setup where the IC-9700 received USB-D audio goes into the UZ7HO soundmodem then the OZ9AAR terminal. I hope that I'm not too far off track substituting the FoxTelem software configuration in place of the Greencube software configuration.
Let's see what happens after a few MESAT1 passes,

I am using a Flex 6600M with Q5 Xvrtrs. Here is what I’m using for MESAT1 telemetry.
I am using a download frequency of *435798.5*. You should use USB (DIGIU on the Flex) Make an entry using this downlink frequency in your Doppler.SQF file, and restart SatPC32. Make sure you are using DAX *Audio *RX1, not DAX IQ.
In the telemetry software, I also checked the box “find signal” (I *think* this might be AFC) Make sure you also check the box to upload data.
I have successfully captured data from 8 passes.
The satellite isn’t real strong, but it has been improving. The best passes here in EM79 have been early mornings (before I wake up hi hi) but I had success with that setup.
YMMV,

I appreciate knowing I'm in good company, JoAnne.
Yes, I get roughly 10 seconds transmitted every two minutes. I hear it 3 or 4 times in a pass. I keep trying different modes in FoxTelem, but nothing locks up. -- Mark D. Johns, KØJM AMSAT Ambassador & News Service Editor Brooklyn Park, MN USA EN35hd

If anyone else out there is successfully using a similar setup, I'd
like to hear from you off list.
It would be OK to reply on the list also.
I've been listening with an IC-9700 w/ LEO pack and FoxTelem software. I've also been hearing strong signals but so far decoding nothing. If I am indeed hearing MESAT1 then a single ~5-10 second burst of data once per pass hasn't helped with testing my setup - and fixing things that need attention.
Decoding prior Fox satellites with FoxTelem has been pretty straigtforward.
