Hello All,
Recently my Satpc32 software has been predicting the birds about 20 minutes ahead of their actual AOS. I am using the latest version. System clock is accurate and reads the same as the software. Kep data is fresh. My location is loaded accurately.
Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas what may be wrong?
Thank you,
Steve, KI6OQU
Sounds like your predicted time may be over Europe. Check that your secondary location is same as primary.

I have checked to observer 2. It is set same as 1. It's weird because all are equally off in timing about 20 minutes early
I may change me local clock to see exactly how far off it is. Bit still need it to work proper. Thanks for you asvise Larry

Hi Steve.
I just recalled that I had a similar problem with Orbitron and using Windows 7 or Vista. When I downloaded new keps, it wouldn't keep them until the next time a started the program. And Orbitron would complain about old keps. My problem was that I was using Windows 7 which has the user access control thingy. Which means that a normal user doesn't have write privileges everywhere on the harddrive. Annoying.... So I had to start the program by right clicking the icon and choose "run as administrator". And after that Orbitron would keep the new keps. I recall that this happened to my Vista installation too a while ago after doing a windows update.
Don't know what OS you are running, but if you have Vista or Windows 7 try and run Satpc as administrator instead. If not, well, others might have the same problem as I had.
