Any word on VO-52? Looks like it hasn't been heard from at all today.
I last listened for VO-52 a couple of days ago. I had trouble getting into the transponder due to a very high noise floor, which I thought might have been local, though I could hear AO-7 which was passing by at the same time. Also, the beacon was found about 3 kHz higher than normal.
I'll try to listen for the next pass at 2224Z, but I operate outside and a storm is on it's way.

Hi Paul and Clayton,
Thanks for your valuable report. Even me and Nitin VU3TYG not heard the beacon during 02:16 UT [2 Deg] pass over India. I'm in touch with our Satellite controllers at ISTRAC. Will keep you all posted with the latest info, soon. The next good pass over Bangalore for us to look into the details is only at 12:50 UT.
In the mean time, we would greatly appreciate the reports around the World. As Paul noticed, it would be nice to scan for the beacon from 3 Khz higher.

Yes, VO-52 is a wonderful satellite. I have no doubt the ground team and AMSAT-India will work diligently to resume service.
Due to the efforts of AMSAT-UK and its partners, we have more transponders on orbit now. Now is an excellent time to renew your memberships and make contributions to AMSAT groups who have active satellite projects. AMSAT-NA FOX program will help replenish our near depleted fleet of FM satellites.
