Yes, amateur radio items for sale are appropriate. Some sellers pledge to send a percentage of the sale as a contribution to AMSAT.

Hi Chris,
it is actually highly encouraged. Many of us are constantly looking for good satellite gear to use in our projects, workshops and for demo and teaching exercises.
