I copied the 08:30 utc pass over Italy and the signal was audible at 08:36, so 15 minutes +o- after the sunlight. I heard at 145.950 FM voice, TLM and SSTV

ARISSat-1 heard in south Devon 1080ej this morning 10:00 utc pass. It didn't switch on until quite late into the pass. Voice tlm gave MET as 16 minutes. I timed the announcement it at 10:11:16 UTC. (radio controlled clock)

Any expected impact from the solar CME and associated activities, etc over the past few days? Pretty "exposed" out there. How "hardened is ARISSat-1?

ARISSat-1 and the ISS are at rather low altitudes, deep in the shielding magnetosphere. The inclination is only about 52 degrees, so they don't transit the polar cusps. That is _not_ to say there will be no effects, but it is in a _relatively_ safe orbit.
