I am hoping there is a nice logbook thinga ma jig program out there. Does anyone know where I can get one?
I really like doin the cards, I feel bad for sending out some pretty hokey ones now that I am getting some really nice ones...
Anyway I figured that someone must have some easy/cool way to keep track of all this stuff.
Thanks, Kevin KF7MYK
Hi Kevin,
I use the HRD (Ham Radio Deluxe) logbook, and it does everything and beyond. Once you enter a call, it automatically inputs the station's grid, name and any other info that you tell it to (it pulls it from QRZ and a few other places - just make sure the grid matches up with what they told you when you worked them). You can also enter in if a QSL card, eQSL or LoTW was sent/received along with the date. ADIF exports are very easy if you use LoTW and/or eQSL. Everything about it can be customized. It takes a few days to get used to and figure out what everything is, but it is worth it. It is also free (most important thing) ;-)
