All,
I appreciate the response we received from AMSAT on the upcoming Explore@NASAGoddard event this Saturday. Thanks!
If any of you are still interested in supporting our booth and could spare 2-3 hours maximum, we could use a couple of folks from 10-noon or from 10-1pm. If you know nothing about the ARISS program, that's OK. At our booth, you will soon learn, first hand, how we inspire and engage students to pursue STEM careers through an educational experience that culminates in a 10 minute contact with the ISS crew.
Let me know if you are interested in helping in one of these two time slots.

All,
The ARISS team will be setting up and supporting a booth at the Explore@NASAGoddard Open House Celebration, which will be held on Saturday September 26th from 11 am to 5 pm. We were given very prime, indoor space, near other displays of NASA's Space Communication and Navigation (SCaN) program (Building 13 lobby). The booth will be interactive with the general public, similar to other ARISS supported events, like our booth at the National Air and Space Museum.
We are looking for volunteers to help support the booth on Saturday Sept 26. You can support us for as little as 2 hours and as long as 10 am-6 pm (set-up preparations and tear down). Those staying at least 4 hours will have lunch provided. Even if you have very little experience with ARISS but are a ham, we can quickly train you.
If you are interested in helping out, please contact me directly.
Tnx es 73,
