As a reminder, our third Symposium preparation meeting and pot luck dinner to be held at our house in Silver Spring/Burtonsville. The meeting will be held on Sunday August 3 starting at 5:30 pm. We would love to have you attend and support our upcoming symposium.

Those that have never attended an AMSAT symposium in the past, note that the AMSAT symposium rarely comes to the DC area (last time was 5 years ago). So this is an outstanding opportunity for you to be part of amateur radio in space history! We will have lots of fun, interesting papers from AMSAT, university satellite programs and ARISS. If you have never helped with a symposium, do not be intimidated. We have some great "starter jobs" that will also introduce you to our world-wide ham radio satellite team. I guarantee that there will be lots of fun and camaraderie as we prepare for and conduct the symposium.
