Hi everyone,

I received a phone call from Joy Gephart, the spouse of Karl Gephart, who passed away 3 years ago. She said her husband had a "large radio collection including satellite radios." She would like to donate these radios to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ... such as AMSAT.

She does not know which radios are in the collection. She asked for assistance in assessing the type and value of the radios. She would donate the radios but wants to know the value of the gift for her taxes.

Mrs. Gephart is in the northern Virginia area around Washington DC. I hope one of our members in that area could help close the deal on the donation. Rather than blast her home telephone number out on the e-mail list please reply to me and I'll send it to you if you wish to make contact.
