Good morning all,
This Friday and Saturday is the Tampa Bay Hamfest in Plant City, Florida ( http://fgcarc.org/). AMSAT will have a booth with the latest in AMSAT swag, including Getting Started on the Amateur Satellites book. We will have a forum from 9 AM to 10 AM on Saturday morning, and we will be doing demonstrations live on the air whenever possible, on both the FM and linear transponder satellites. Look for KK4FEM, KO4MA, and maybe others, on the air.
If you are a current AMSAT member and plan on attending, drop me an email to let me know if you can help out. We need help especially during the forum, and during demonstration times.
Thanks, Drew KO4MA AMSAT-NA VP Operations
