forwarding this in reference to my call on Friday and Saturday about an unidentified echolink node in the orlando florida area on 144.000. no call sign from the local node was transmitted. also if you go to http://www.qrz.com and look up KJ4YOB he has a radio with 144.000 displayed right above his computer monitor.

hello, i have been listening to this echolink station over the last 3 days starting on 2-17-20011 at 10am EST. i have monitored it during that day and it is very busy.
I ran accross this station as i tuned to the weak signal portion of the band to look for CW signals. on 144.000 in FM mode i have heard this station later identified as KJ4YOB. It is part of a group called scan international.
his node number is 54072. if you look him up on QRZ he has a picture on the radio with 144.000 on the display.

I'm receiving the signal here on the east side of Orlando. Its difficult since I have other qrn close to frequency. I can hear audio to some extent. KJ4YOB is 13 miles SW of my location and I'm using a base ground plane.
