Gentlemen:
In amongst all of the trappings of Halloween
trick or treat comings and goings last evening, we had a knock at the door
saying "UPS", which I immediately thought was a hoax - but it was not, it was a
package from AMSAT. The contents of the box was of a total unexpected
nature.
Your placing on me an "AMSAT 2006
Presidential Achievement Award" was of great surprise and very humbling at
the same time. (I personally feel that I have caused more trouble than good.) Be
that as it may, the award is greatly appreciated, and from this point
on I am at a loss for further words of appreciation
The AMSAT box also contained a really neat
travel laptop/office case that I expect will be very well used in coming times
as we progress on the Eagle Project.
