We can support a single front end and two IF chains inernally especially for L band. One for a 10.7 MHz QSD/SDX based linear transponder input. The other for a QSD 10.7+difference IF feeding up to, but not exceeding 200 kHz bandwidth. I will be uploading new spread sheets for all the recommended bands/modes soon after Jim makes his announcement.

It seems to me as difficult. Maybe it will be better to do a new simple IF chain with this bandwidth. The command receiver is designed by similar way.

Could the RUDAK output be widened to 1 MHz?

Hi John,
Thanks for the message. Yes, you are right. The originally planed RUDAK output bandwidth is about 250 kHz (150 kHz nominal) below the analog passband with center 10.7 MHz and bandwidth 150 kHz. However RUDAK system will be not implemented into P3E and will be changed by SDX. We assume to connect SDX to the same output. Only AGC is need to modify for both modes.

Welcome to the group. I see that there are 2 paths through the P3E 23 cm receiver -- one with ceramic filters and one without. What's the bandwidth of the Rudak output?
