I just wanted to send congratulations to ACP team member Goran Popovic, AD6IW, on his cover article in the latest Dubus Technik magazine. The article is about his beautifully designed 350 W solid state amplifier for 1296 MHz. Appropriately enough, Goran will be designing the 3.4 GHz downlink power amplifier for the ACP. It will mostly likely be a Class E amplifier based on silicon carbide transistors.
