I worked on the Launchpad a bit more after the meeting, so I wanted to give a brief update.

It took me way too long to discover that I installed the wrong drivers from the Kenwood website. After installing the correct ones for the TH-D72, my computer assigned a com port.

I started the ground station software again and changed the settings according to the information given in the previous meeting. However, it's not displaying any information from the packets. The radio is certainly receiving them. I'm going to keep reading through the manual for the software and work on it some more today. If it's still not displaying anything by next week's meeting, I'll share my screen.
