Looks like the datasheet example has a Vdd of 7.5V. Where did you see that it needs 12V?
It's very similar to the component we're already using, but it's got a 3% increase in efficiency at 520 MHz which will be better with the lower power output. I wanted to get some different transistors to build up the models I've been playing with. This one is definitely something to look at.
