I've been in contact with Chris who has supplied me with an information
trove he used developing the FalconSat-3 ground station software.
I'll be sorting though it the next several nights, several being the
variable.

I also want to study FX.25 to determine if the overhead (link) justifies
the improvement in throughput.
Chris is planning to do the same.

Oh, that's great, Jim. I also asked him if he was willing to be on this mailing list. He is no longer in the US, so he wanted to be off many of them which might have some ITAR limitiations. But this one should be all open source/ITAR-free.
