Here is an interesting Pacat link maintained by Chris Thompson AC2CZ. You will see copies of some of the original papers by Harold Price and Jeff Ward and others. It's a trip back though history. Harold mentions the IBM PC and I can remember I had a S100 system at this time with 8 inch floppies.
