NasaTv in its KSC big display mode is showing an orbital radio footprint centred on the UK.

Don't remember it. It's the sort of thing that's quite familiar, like any other AOS/LOS geometric V/UHF ground station polygon.

Anyone know if this is significant for shuttle comms etc?
