An International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Gujarat Council Of Science City, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:18 UTC.

The duration of the contact is approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds. The contact will be a telebridge between OR4ISS and IK1SLD. The contact should be audible over Italy and adjacent areas. Interested parties are invited to listen in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The contact is expected to be conducted in English.

Gujarat Science City (GSC), working under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, is emerging as a large-scale science popularization platform in the country to promote innovative and experimental activities through hands-on activities and minds-on exposures.

The approach and methodology of the Gujarat Science City is focused on informal community based learning which is different from the formal mode of education. All of the programs are intended to enliven the imagination, foster creativity and develop a spirit of inquiry, especially in young minds. Schoolchildren, during their visit, are discovering the wonders of science and technology and get an access to the most exciting and contemporary form of entertainment regardless of the social stratum, education or age group and create a culture of learning.

2. Do you observe any extra solar or lunar eclipse on space during your

journey?

3. How many hours you work and how many hours you take rest?

4. What do you do for entertainment?

5. What do you eat?

6. What are your main work at ISS?

7. Do persons on the ISS have the opportunity to practice their religion

daily?

8. How you keep your self acquainted with daily happenings on earth?

9. Do you know, today is special day for Gujarati community as well as for

the Indian Children?

10. After coming back, would you like to go again to ISS?

11. Are you planning to visit India and Gujarat to encourage us?

12. How you maintain cleanliness at ISS?

13. Can you brief us about your daily routine?

14. How you keep yourself fit?

15. Which personality inspires you to join NASA?

16. Before joining NASA, as a student how many hours you used to study?

17. What is the time now in Space Station and How do you know when it is Day

and Night time ?

18. How you enjoy the ice - cream in the ISS which was sent from Earth?

ARISS is an international educational outreach program partnering the participating space agencies, NASA, Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA, with the AMSAT and IARU organizations from participating countries.

ARISS offers an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly with crewmembers on-board the International Space Station. Teachers, parents and communities see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and crewmembers on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology, and learning.
