An International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Istituto Comprensivo Via Toscana 2 Civitavecchia, Roma, Italy on 15 Jan. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 09:02 UTC. The duration of the contact is approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds. The contact will be direct between IR0ISS and IK0WGF. The contact should be audible over Italy. Interested parties are invited to listen in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The contact is expected to be conducted in Italian.

Istituto Comprensivo Via Toscana 2" is middle school located in Civitavecchia, near Rome. The school was named Ennio Galice, one of its best teachers as well as a well-known painter. The present school is the result of the union of two pre-existing ones and today, with its five branches, it operates on a very large area, is attended by 750 students from the age of 3 to 14. Thanks to experienced teachers, sensitive towards social as well as environmental problems our students have always been willing to be involved in projects concerning wide ranging themes.

12. Heard of a project for studying the stem cell in the space, in this

moment in the ISS is there any scientist studying for it?

13. What is your favorite activity in the ISS?

14. How do you feel when you watch the earth from the space?

15. What is the most beautiful thing you saw from the space?

16. How do you spend your free time when you are in the space?

17. Can you play basket, football or other sports inside the ISS?

18. What about you relation with your mates of the mission?

19. Do you calculate of the orbits of meteorites passing near the earth?

20. Which mission will you do in the future?

ARISS is an international educational outreach program partnering the participating space agencies, NASA, Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA, with the AMSAT and IARU organizations from participating countries.

ARISS offers an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly with crewmembers on-board the International Space Station. Teachers, parents and communities see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and crewmembers on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology, and learning.
