The school has a total of 800 students.
Presentation State Technical Institute of Technology Alessandro Volta
Our school "Alessandro Volta" aims at letting students reach communicative, social-historic, mathematical, scientific and technological knowledge spendable in different contexts: life, study, job. In addition it strengthens useful competences so that students can confront themselves with continuous innovations through 3 specializations: Mechanics and Mechatronics, IT and Telecommunications, Electronics and Electrotechnics
Participants will ask as many of the following questions as time allows:
all'ISS?
Come è possibile prendere precauzioni?
8. Come vi mettete in contatto con le vostre famiglie?
stampante 3D? Come procedete?
umano e quali conseguenze avranno in campo medico?

to bio-molecules? Is there any alteration in the structure of
proteins?
2. How and where was ISS made?
3. What about digestion at zero gravity?
4. How do you feel when you are on the launching pad?
5. Does ISS find any "space rubbish" on its way? And if it does, what kind of
problems do you have to cope with?
6. What kind of physical training do you have to undergo before the space
mission?
7. As you share very narrow room aboard, we'd like to know how you take care
of your health, when you get sick. How could you take the necessary
precautions?
8. How do you get in touch with your families?
9. Have you already started to experiment the production of spare parts by 3
dimension printer?
10. Sleeping in vertical position, at zero gravity, seems to be very
uncomfortable. Is it like that?
11. Are you carrying out any test on human brain? How will this affect the
medical field?
12. What tasks are you going to carry out aboard?
13. On your return to earth, what procedures will you adopt to go back to
normal?
14. How much Energy can solar panels produce for your needs aboard?
15. Will you be able to grow any plants and eventually eat their fruit,
during your long stay aboard?
16. How long does it take to get to the Space Station from Earth?
17. Are you going to take experiments on the dark matter?
18. What type of electronic equipment or devices are used for extra-vehicular
activities?
19. What bio-chemical and physical experiments will you carry out during the

Next planned event(s):
TBD
ARISS is an international educational outreach program partnering the volunteer support and leadership from AMSAT and IARU societies around the world with the ISS space agencies partners: NASA, Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA.
ARISS offers an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly with crewmembers on-board the International Space Station. Teachers, parents and communities see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and crewmembers on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology, and learning. Further information on the ARISS program is available on the website http://www.ariss.org/
