There has been a rumor that the ISS was having direct contacts on the 40 meter band. There is no HF radio equipment on board and available yet. The HF antenna is mounted. Sometimes WA3NAN will retransmit shuttle audio.

Anousheh, was active over the east cost USA at 14:05 - 14:08 calling cq and K9SOU.
She must have been on a school uplink channel since she did not hear anyone. Down link was on 145.800 MHZ Uplink unknown. I tried all public uplinks and no contact. Her down link signal and audio was good. Running 22 element cp antenna az/el

A few minutes ago, at about 10:30 PM Pacific I heard her briefly with a rather weak signal into suburban Los Angeles. I taped it and will try to post it at the Newsline website later today -- if time permits. Its very brief but understandable.
