Hi Tony,

We had a great view of the International Space Station and the Shuttle Atlantis following behind this evening. At an elevation of around 17 degrees the pass was all over within minutes.

For those of us in the Auckland area, tomorrow night should present a far better opportunity for us, if the sky is as clear as it was tonight. Tomorrow night, they come over the horizon around 7.10pm from the NW at 300 deg. They rise to an elevation of around 68 deg. and then move off over the horizon SE at 130 deg. Tonight they were, at arms length, 2 spread fingers apart but this will increase by tomorrow evening.

A great sight, will make sure the grand kids see them with any luck.
