I have done a bit of work with APRS on the Raspberry Pi as a battery powered mobile setup with Xaster. It had a 4in touch screen which made it practical only for emergencies. I think a headless SatGate would be a better use for an RPi. On Sep 21, 2016 6:50 AM, "Andrew Rich" vk4tec@tech-software.net wrote:
Hello
A while back I had a Linux computer that would listen for the ISS then start sending beacons
Trying to cut back on wildly transmitting all day and night
Has anyone used the raspberry Pi ?
It lends itself nicely to such a beacon project
Listen then beacon for ten minutes
