Dear All,
It seems that Mark (VK5QI) was the last station to receive successfully Falconsat 3 (F3) signals. Before congratulations to him and issuing the MARS Award at MARS management level we wish to ensure that it is so.
Therefore request that anyone who may have receive F3 after him after 21/01/2023 at 13:34:41 Hrs do claim so and provide proof by 27/01/2023 at midnight UTC.
I take the opportunity to thank Mark Hammond (N8MH) to have dedicated so much time to maintain F3 enabling worldwide exchanges through the F3 BBS and to Chris Thompson (G0KLA/AC2CZ) for his superb PacSat Ground Station software enabling me to make many QSO’s on F3 and MO-112.
All good things have a end but I wish to mention that F3 was a superb experience for me and I guess for many others around the world.
Also Bravo and thanks to all not mentioned who made this superb adventure possible.
Looking forward to issue the F3 Award asap.
