The #1 question is what Path this device will use. It is an abomination to fly such a tracker on the APRS network with a beacon rate more often than once a minute, *OR* with a path via more than 1 hop. If those limits are not implemented in hardware, these devices could trash the national APRS frequency.
Half the balloons we see go up to not adhere to these APRS standards because the operators are clueless to the netwrk constraints and apparently do nothing to research the proper settings.. Bob, WB4APR
