An original message entitled "[amsat-bb] Doppler Shift :-)" did get through but a subsequent follow-up with the same subject did not. However both messages made it to SAREX. Hence I believe that MajorDomo@amsat.org does not agree with my sense of humour and is filtering my jokes! Actually, this has occurred with far less frivolous postings too, both with original postings and replies to postings from others. So filtering based on the subject seems to be an unlikely culprit.

More likely, you used a word or phrase in your subject line which triggered the spam filters at the AMSAT server.... to the best of my knowledge, the mail list reflector is totally automatic, and re-sends all messages from legitimate users without any human intervention, and censoring is neither done, nor even possible, with the current settings, as messages are not "held" by the server for examination & approval.

[Assuming you all get this ...]
Lots of suggestions from various people. So to summarise ... <snip>
I believe that my postings are being censored (and rightly so, as they are mostly rubbish).
