Yes, I just discovered. Sorry about that. I hardly imagined it would work for the 817 and the 857, but not the 847! BTW, it also does not work for an ICOM 910H, as I just discovered with my new rig :-) No big deal since the memories on the 910H are only semi-useful anyway without labels!

I see that RT Systems has something, but my frustration level isn't high enough to warrant buying both software and a special cable to do it. I was just trying to enter memory settings for AO-91 and AO-92, and managed to overwrite the wrong memory channel...
There's a bit of "shareware" by WB8NUT, but I can't verify that it actually works because until you buy it, it won't talk to the radio. Cheaper than the RT product, but I'm rather put off by its evaluation terms. No sale.
Nothing else comes up that seems viable (e.g. a website that still exists).
Any thoughts?
