What about Kenwood TH-75A Howard VE4ISP ----- Original Message ----- From: "John W Lee" [email protected] To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 8:38 PM Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: true duplex radios
OK, Here's another oldie but a goodie:
Heathkit HW-24 or HW-24A. This is a dual band FM mobile rig, the "A" model is 25 watts, the plain model is 10 watts. This is NOT a kit radio, it was factory built, I have had one for about 20 years, and used it a lot on satellite FM work. It also does cross-band repeat and does work great for doing FM satellite work, you can hear your own signal on the downlink. It has separate co-ax connectors for VHF/UHF. It also has memories, P.L. encode and decode, blue flourescent readout, etc.
