I assume the files are automatically generated by a server somewhere. Perhaps when these files were generated they need the dos2unix treatment or perl -i -p -e 's/\r//g' file command executed against them?

Just a suggestion to all:
I send all updates (“bulletin format” elements and “bare elements”) in plain text format in order to eliminate any unseen “formatting codes” from the text.
If you are having issues loading the TLE, it might be a good idea to handle the TLE file only with Notepad (with word wrap off).
This will eliminate any hidden format code issues as best we can.

Hi Ray. I always ran nasa.all , or at least for the last few years at this location. So there was a change or an error in the nasa.all file that several long time uses have noticed in the last few days. I switched over to nasabare, but it would be a good idea to send out a notice to let people know if the format of any of the kep files are being changed...

Use the ”bare elements” file. The “bare elements” are just that bare elements.
Paul is correct the “bulletin format elements” should not be a problem ether. Bhut, they are designed for bulletin boards systems.

Hmm...it looks like extra LFs have been added to the file. NASA.ALL has always included the headers, so that won't cause SatPC32 any issues.
Try using http://www.amsat.org/tle/current/nasabare.txt until the file can be corrected

Hi Jeff,
I noticed that as well.
If you open the path for the data, there you will notice new data at the top above the actual kep data, and I believe that this data is confusing SatPC32

Several of us that talk on the linear birds in the morning have noticed that SatPC32's Satellites, Update Keps, selected keps file, routine returns either a 'No Keplerian data found!' or a 'Download failed' error. I had to manually copy and paste the kep data from the AMSAT site to get a fresh set. I tried this on two different PC's here. As I haven't updated any of my s/w on this end I'm assuming this is an issue on the AMSAT kep site. Anyone know what's going on here ?
