BlackBerry really seems to have the smallest selection of apps out there. So far I've only been able to find two apps relevant to hams: SATme ( http://www.k0sm.com/_mgxroot/page_10731.html) and BBScanner ( http://www.bbscanner.com/). BBScanner is really only an RSS feed app that specializes in streaming audio from scanner sites while SATme is a Satellite tracking app.
Honestly imo, Android is the way to go. The devices are faster, more capable, and have vastly larger & more organized market place for apps.

Scott, If you go to the AMSAT website and follow down the listings on the left side of the site, you will find a Question Mark (?) and if you click on that you will find many reams of getting started information. There is a bunch of articles for the more advanced as well. In the same listings, there are even downloadable videos for people to watch - a great way to attract people during a demo. When I was in Baltimore, with Richard Crow, he demo'd actual passes in the parking lot and I was showing a few videos on satellite stories inside. I tailor my talks to the crowd at hand and request from the group what the majority of them would like to see or talk about. Usually, there is never enough time to give a longer timely talk. All the information is downloadable and you can reproduce it giving AMSAT the credit. Don't forget to put a blurb in the flyer to attract membership.
