Well they used "one minute" to give a battery life example:
"It is able to report location, altitude, temperature pressure and humidity to the internet once a minute for twelve hours with 2xAA batteries."

Half the balloons we see go up to not adhere to these APRS standards because the operators are clueless to the netwrk constraints and apparently do nothing to research the proper settings.. Bob, WB4APR
