You can also get a separation kit from Yaesu that lets you mount the rotors apart. I've got one and it works fine. Jim KQ6EA

You can separate the elevation section from the
azimuth section of
the B5400. Then you attach the elevation section to
the side of the
mast with a custom-made bracket.
