that's pretty much the only other option, is the sat board... if your radio can receive while transmitting (full-duplex) then the sat board is there. set both VFO's to different bands/same mode, put the VFO knob to either the ra-tb or rb-ta settings and the satellite knob to something other than "off" and hit TX to see what happens. best of luck with the sale, it won't be hard, that's still a very useful rig! BTW, I didn't know there was a 21-28 module available for it untill now!Very cool...

I have a yaesu ft-726 that I'm presently trying to determine what options it has installed. I know it has the 2M/430/21-28mhz modules and ctcss tone board installed but how do I tell if it has the sat module or what other options it may have?
