Tony,
When I first read this I didn’t realize the implications. Then, I saw an article on AmSat that talked specifically about this setup. That hits ALL my metrics (low cost and low loss). I ordered two today and will be here Saturday.
Thank you!

Comet diplexers and triplexers are pretty good when operating two rigs on one antenna or two antennas on one rig.
I have used them to transmit and receive on 6 meters, two meters and 70 centimeters simultaneous without problems.

I have looked all over the place for Bandpass filters for both 2m and 70cm antennas to put in front off my LNAs.
Any companies in the US that sells them?????
Thanks,
Herb

I used an MFJ-916B in my two radio setup until I got a BLP-200+. I was using it the same way, and the BLP-200 is vastly lighter. Either way, they make a HUGE difference.

Ladies and Gentleman,
I installed the diplexers that were recommended. All I can say is “Holy Cow”! A huge difference in my system NF now and on budget (i.e. cheap). I am very grateful for all the advice and suggestions! Now off to my next project LOL.

Well there is the problem though. On the net now there are so many frequencies and modes for the ISS that it is hard to understand which ones and what mode. I thought there should have been 3 lines in total. One for the voice repeater, one for the data repeater and one for SSTV. I will try this method and see what happens.
Of late I am finding me spending more time being a computer junkie looking up data to make changes to programs than actually using the radio.
