Re: BeliefSat-0 (Re: Ham sat launched last night?)
Yes, the payload is permanently attached to the POEM (Last stage). Since it is in equatorial orbit we in south India can access the payload. Example the max elevation for MK83SD in Bangalore is ~36 degree. K J Somaiya college of engineering built the payload and was launched by ISRO. @PE0SAT, I will share a recording of the APRS beacon heard at my station. 73 Nitin [VU3TYG]

Will it remain attached to its launch container (POEM-3 ?
It may be moot since it looks like an equatorial orbit of little use for most of us. It barely touches India, who launched it !
Am I missing something ?

An update on BeliefSat-0,
The satellites is connected to the POEM-3 platform and that has TLE ID 58695 So for those that are able to receive BeliefSat-0 follow this ID.
More in general, is someone able to share a recording so I can have a look and create a gr-satellites yml file.
All the best,

Looks like the answer is yes!
Took some digging, but this article points to BeliefSat-0 as an included payload:

BeliefSat-0 looks to be this:
https://github.com/NewLeapKjsieit/BeliefSat-0/tree/main , which includes an FM repeater and APRS digipeater.

I was watching the Indian PSLV launch carrying the XPoSat satellite last night. Although it was hard to understand due to the accent, I thought they said that one of the secondary payloads was an amateur satellite. Anyone know if there was an amateur satellite on that flight?
