I just retrieved an AX5043 board (for the Pi) from a local guy who was going to volunteer but never had time. So now I have two. If anyone wants one without have to assemble it, let me know and I'll ship it.
BTW, I had forgotten this, but Alan Johnson, VPEduation, had his students at Villanova assemble some of these. If we want more of these oards, we might check with him to see if he has more or has students to assemble them. I am in contact with him regularly, so I'll ask him about the situation.

Burns,
I would certainly take one. But I will also go with whatever we think is best to make progress as a team.

Ok, let's everyone put in their bid here and we can decide as a team where it can best go.
Bid: I don't mean $. Just "I want one".

My "bid" would be that I could make the pi-pacsat software work with the board. That would give me familiarity with the AX5043 and force me to prototype the missing components of the stack to work with the hardware radio. Right now I am relying on DireWolf as the TNC. The prototype should then help us with the implementation on the actual RT-IHU later, given it is all written in (fairly) portable C. Of course if I have an RT-IHU then I could look at that, but I think Burns first needs to make the OS work, etc.

Ok, Alan has several of these boards. Probably we don't have to make any! In addition, Alan has some AFSK code for it on his gitHub account. I'll try to find that, but in the meantime, forget the bidding. Just let me know if you want one, and I'll ask Alan to ship it to you.
(Chris, I'll send you the extra one that I have.)
