Hi all This Sunday I received the best pics so far over Europe. The image sent at 0854z show the Gulf of Biscay, Pyrenees and part of Mediterranean coast (from Barcelona to Monaco). Confiming that SSTV transmissions were heard at Warkworth North of Auckland NZ this evening Sunday 19th October. Regretfully my SSTV equipment is down at present but was still a thrill to here the signal. A 38 degree pass and very clear to the naked eye. Gary ZL1KJ

Well I finally cracked it at 1531 UTC as I slept. It's not a good pic to be sure, but it's a dead straight pic inside the ISS with NA1SS on the bottom. Big band of noise due to QSB in the middle but never lost sync. It wasn't such a good pass either, about 7 deg az, so I'm nearly happy!!! Now for the boys in South America. Currently the ARISS operations team has a list of 60 schools that we hope will be able to have a contact during 2008. As the schedule becomes more solidified, we will be letting everyone know. Apparently my 70 cm. Preamp is fried... Unhooked power to it just as the ISS flew over, and heard SSTV at 20 db over S9!!!
