This week three (and maybe four) satellites launched on 10-28-11 are added to
the KEPs distribution. They are as follows:
Cat# Name
37853 RAX-2
37854 AUBIESAT-1 (listed as AUBIESAT)
37855 HRBE (formerly EXP1 Prime renamed for William H. Hiscock
HRBE = Hiscock Radiation Belt Explorer)
Graham, G3VZV, has graciously given us a "heads up" on an explanation for some
of the confusion and scratching of heads that has accompied the 10-28-2011
launch. Since the launch, there have always been questions of a missing object
or of radar cross sections that seemed just to big.
The AMSAT-UK news letter, OSCAR News, will publish an article this month with
data showing that it is probable that HRBE (formerly Explorer-1 Prime) and
M-Cubed are somehow connected! AMAZING! Work continues to determine what exactly
has happen. Great detective work by Mike Rupprecht, DK3WN!
(Sorry, you have to be a AMSAT-UK member to get the news letter.)
