Based on detailed doppler measurements, HALELSAT and SOMP 2 have swapped
TLE's as follows:
HAVELSAT - NORAD CAT ID 42700.
SOMP 2 - NORAD CAT ID 42701.
Thanks to Nico Janssen, PA0DLO and Mike, DK3WN. Good work gentlemen!
The following satellites have been added:
TechnoSat - NORAD CAT ID 42829 (Nico Janssen, PA0DLO)
Mayak - NORAD CAT ID 42830 (Joe, WB9SBD via Heavens-Above.com)
See AMSAT-BB email of 7-27-2017, entitled "Re: [amsat-bb] Russian Thing" for
more info.
Nico Janssen, PA0DLO has identified the five more CubeSats in the 6-23-2017
QB50 launch by detailed doppler measurements as follows:
Aalto 1 is object 42775, 2017-036L
URSA MAIOR is object 42776, 2017-036M (QB50)
Pegasus is object 42784, 2017-036V (QB50)
Robusta 1B is object 42792, 2017-036AD
D-SAT is object 42794, 2017-036AF
UCLSat and skCUBE are objects 42789 and 42796. But the separation between
these objects is so small that it is not yet possible to determine which
satellite is which object.
NUDTSat is either object 42787 or object 42788. Again the separation between
these objects is too small to be able to determine which one it is.
On July 7, 2017 a constellation of five BIRDS-1 CubeSats was deployed from
the International Space Station (ISS) as follows:
Object U, NORAD CAT ID 42820
Object V, NORAD CAT ID 42821
Object W, NORAD CAT ID 42822
Object X, NORAD CAT ID 42823
Object Y, NORAD CAT ID 42824
These objects have been added to this week's AMSAT-NA KEP Distrubution. We
will now wait for the objects to separate enough to be identified. Thanks to
Nico Janssen (PA0DLO), Naomi Kurahara (M5AKA), and AMSAT-UK website for this
information.
As you have noticed the AMSAT KEP Distribution is early this week. I will be
out of town most of this week so I need to send them today. I will return
to the normal Thursday night schedule next week.
Four satellites from the India PSLV launch of 6-23-2017 have been
identified. They are as follows:
LituanicaSat - NORAD CAT ID 42768.
InflateSail - NORAD CAT ID 42770.
Max Valier Sat - NORAD CAT ID 42778.
VZLUSAT1 - NORAD CAT ID 42790.
The KEP Distribution have been edited to relflect these changes. Thanks to
Nico Janssen, PA0DLO for this information.
